HI! My name is LORNA and I am super proud to run an Online Business from my laptop and phone with an uncapped earning potential.
I am a wife and a mother to 5 beautiful children. I was born in Namibia in the South West of Africa, Now living in Perth, Western Australia. Life is a beautiful mix of "happiness and busy" but I wouldn't have it any other way. This business affords me the flexibility to create a lifestyle of my choice and I no longer compromise on important things like family, friends, and travel adventures.
Life has not always been full of freedom and flexibility. 16 years in the corporate world saw me as a CFO in the mining industry and more recently as a Bank Manager. Although I loved my varying roles over the years building other people’s businesses, I deeply craved “something” for myself. The freedom to choose my hours and to be renumerated way beyond a six-figure pay packet cap.
Choosing to get started in an Online Business has truly transformed my life beyond anything I thought was possible. I typically work about a 15-20 hour week so plenty of time left to just LIVE. I get to spend quality time with the kids, go to their school functions, have impromptu lunches with my husband, or simply spend my days at the beach with friends. It's AWESOME!
THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: Burnt out, stressed, broke, pregnant and single I felt myself feeling so far away from reaching my goals and dreams that I had spent 16 years working towards. I no longer wanted to live pay to pay to cover debts that were no longer working in my favor. I was frustrated as I couldn’t afford to travel and have adventures, nor did I want to be restricted to the 9-5 grind any longer. Pending motherhood really changed it all for me. I had to do something about the mess my financial life had become. So, I took some time to re-evaluate what I wanted our future to look like and started making some bold decisions, boy I’m glad I did!
THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BUST: Just under four years ago I found myself almost facing bankruptcy, I had a 6 figure JOB however after the market had bottomed out my multiple property investments left me with -$600k in equity across the board. So, put to put it frankly, I was financially stuffed. I was also soon to become a single mum, I was frightened and I realized I was at a crossroads. I couldn’t continue to live the way I had been for almost 5 years previously.
THE BOOK THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: As a child, I had a massive craving for reading, I used to hide under the covers with a flashlight and read for hours. I knew that Personal development was the key to getting where I wanted to go. I had just relocated for the 4th time in two years for work and an incredible friend of mine called me up and had a conversation with me about some of the challenges I was facing & suggested I read, "The Secret" (by Rhonda Byrne, a book about The Law Of Attraction). Holy smokes how things started snap crackle and popping in my life for the good.
THE BUSINESS THAT IS A BOOM: The business that I was led to a few months later, is the business that I run today. Representing award-winning Personal Development products. Tapping into a global economy and connecting with clients from Canada to Australia and everything in between. I'm privileged to work with incredible entrepreneurs who are supportive, talented, and simply the best in their field.
